Finally I got enough family and close friends out for a cookout and family fun.WE pulled the body off the "WOP's frame after sitting on its frame for 23 years.Man I felt like a little kid getting his first Christmas present.I was so happy.I was forever thanking them for the great job they did.Now I can start on the frame.My son had come over a little earlier so we could shift the whole thing around for more room and light.These pictures were taken by my best Friend's wPaisnaoife,Patty Ann.Thanks! This photo was taken around 1959. The Wax Museum of Washington DC asked my father if he could make body parts for this car as none were available at the time that they knew of. Of what I recall,he hand made the 4 fenders,front and rear panels and painted the thing to their specs.
Well Folks,my son and a couple of his strong arms are coming over so we can pull the body off and start putting the frame together.I just about have all the suspension and cross member materials to start welding the parts in.I'm using the same straight front axle that I got for my High School graduation,[thanks Dad].It is a CAE unit that they used on the old Fuel altered rockets in the 60's.,Real cool vintage stuff,I have only seen one guy running one and it looked real neat to me.Can't wait to get it rolling.I just about figured where I want the engine trans placement.I'm getting ready to cut some of the floor board,that my father had hand made for me many,many moons ago.I'll post some flicks soon as I begin the trans/engine future home.Thanks for looking,Paisano

Went to the Mayo Beach car and motorcycle show today to see what Spring has bought out over from the winter. There deffinitly was a lot of money put into some of these rides.Took some pictures of the cars to get some ideas that might work for me.We'll see.Saw some friends and came on back home.
