Ive owned this car since I was 16 years old. That means its been in my possession for 44 years. Seems I could have finished this a long, long time ago, but USMC Viet-Nam, marrige, first house, first child, financial situation, E-I-E-I-O- you know the story. There seemed to be always another priority. This time for real, its going to get finished.I will post pictures and progress as soon as as can figure on how tho put pictures on this blog. My son set this up for me and hopfully wel'l get more action going on here.

Been searching for possible kits or making my own system for center crossmembers and trans mounting system for the frame. I came across a kit from Speedway motors which seems reasonbly priced. The people there were helpful. They responded very quickly with my question weather a 32 frame kit could fit between 33-34 rails. I figure if the rails have extra length on them, they can be cut and modified to fit, considering the inside demensions are almost the same. I'm a pretty good welder and fabricator. Hopfully I shouldn't encounter too might of a problem.

Installing X-Member
I'm in the process of buying tubes to make a center crossmember system for my '33 Ford rails.
If you know anything I should look out for, or know some folks I should talk to let me know!
